The gen does stay in the box when its running - two side panels come off.  The back panel is where the license will go - when I finally get one....

Finished a third major project today - battery box for dual GC2 batteries from RV Armor.  The top slides off to the left and spacing is very tight with an over-tongue bike rack we'll be installing so I installed the box offset to one side to help getting the cover off.

Do you make house calls?????? :P

Beautiful work on both boxes!

Very nice box work! But don't "hide" your great mods in the new members thread????. Post your good stuff in the Camplite mods thread so we can all find them easier.

I like to keep a summary of my projects here - but will also post details in the other areas so folks see

Moved inside for the winter - we completed the same sink upgrade that tinkertechie had done.  It's come out really well.

Hah... Spring starts in June I think here in the NW.  By then I want to have done the following:
- Add a Trimetric 2030RV Battery System Monitor
- Change out the battery - Convert to 2 6v Trojan T-105's
- Change out the slide-out switch to a key switch (4 year old!)
- Figure out the cabinet storage options

I'm going to spend some time on the Mod's section and see what else makes sense before getting started. I'll post everything when I am done. :).

10 helpful mod suggestions:

1) Rear view camera for backing up.
2) Side view cameras for watching the neighbors.
3) Macerating pump in the sewer.
4) Make the entire exterior surface out of flexible solar sheets.
5) Is that...an attic ?
6) Power stairs
7) Satellite TV receiver
8) (open)
9) Replace cooktop with a mini-range w/oven
10) Live fish well. Oh, wait. That's for the boat...nah, let's have one in the trailer, too.

I found the battery box manufacture.  The owner is awesome.  He'll paint the box any color you want - for a little extra.  Anyhow, http:/www.rvlockbox.com.  Working on the fish pond next.
