LivinLite is discontinuing the Fifth Wheel line. There is not enough interest and they were overpriced. If you are interested in the LivinLite Fifth Wheels and can find one, snatch it up. There are great deals on them right now.  Who knows?  You may have something of a rarity in a few years for a small price now. They are liquidating all Fifth Wheels.  You can pick up a $64,000 Fifth Wheel for $29,999. Sad but not bad!  See article on D&H RV.

I showed this thread to my husband and told him now we need a big truck! The fifth wheels were nice, but LL put in WOOD cabinets.

Customers want a 'warmer' interior feel, and so LL has responded with more wood over aluminum frame in their cabinetry.  Doesn't bother us, but as to the 5th wheel LL, the roofs are of a TPO-type rubber like traditional trailers, out of necessity, as we understand it.  It does cause one to wonder what else is 'traditional'.   Even so, a great deal for a price tag in the twenties, unless you have to get a TV too.  Oh, oh, just reminded of this weekend when we saw a very young couple in their twenties pulling a good-size 5th wheel, probably 30 ft., with a Ram 1/2 ton!  Ah, to be young and optimistic again!  :)  I digress.

Kudos to LL for trying to 'stretch their tent pegs', an example of capitalism at its best.  Keep going, LL!

[font size="3"]If the walls and roof are built similarly to other LL trailers they are made of 1" square tubing and insulated with 1" foam. No where near a four season trailer.

For those that may still be interested in a LL 5th wheel camper they still have 4-5 on their lot. Hit the link to my photobucket page and you'll see several pictures of their 5th wheels they have at the factory lot. Pictures are mixed in with the others but they are there.

Thanks everyone!  It is a bit of a gamble I suppose forgoing the structural warrantee, but between the dealer price for the 5th wheel and the trade-in value they gave me for my 16DB I could not pass it up!  PS:  All the appliances still come with the manufacturers warrantees, mostly 2years.
