Caulk (and a caulking gun) is never a bad idea to keep in the storage compartment just in case.  I use Proflex RV.  Really good stuff; available from Camping World.

I'll do the permanent fix back at home (or, rather, my dealer's service department will, if for no other reason that I'm a) lazy, b) incompetent, and c) want someone to hold responsible if it leaks after.[/p][p]

We have added a fairly big funnel and tubing to attach to funnel just in case we have to add water with our five gallon collapsible water jug. They really saved us in Frisco National Park Campground in Cape Hatteras. We also use the small Hefty plastic boxes with the handles that snap shut for our food items along with paper products, our underware and socks, and rolled up shirts.  Keeps everything dry and neat! I also found collapsible wire racks at Walmart to put in the deep and tall cabinet above our refrigerator so that I can put one larger box along with a smaller one on the top and bottom.  We also store our flashlights and a few other things in that cabinet. I am in the process of putting a small towel rack on the side of the wall from the microwave next to the sink using command tape.

Just bought a used, truck cap for the Silverado. We'll be doing some extended trips this fall/winter.  It's really nice to have the extra, covered storage; nice also, are the driver's side tool boxes.

Next up: ceramic heater.  Any recommendations there?
