How often do you get asked about your QS?

I have been camping with my QS 6.0 since the fall of 2012.  On everything camping trip I have had perfect strangers come up and ask me about my camper.  They are all interested in the design and the fact that my tow vehicle is a small 4-cylinder car.  I'm always willing to point out the features and to let them have a look inside.  Am I the only one?  At one campground, the gate attendant paused, scratched his head, and said "what is it?" when I pulled up.  He made it a point to come over to see the unit after it was all set up.

We have a 10.0, towed by an Odyssey. Surprisingly, we don't get many questions, but maybe that's because it's more conventionally sized and the van is not an uncommon tow vehicle.

You could be right.  One "odd thing" about the look of the 5.0 or 6.0 is the fact that the unit only has a bunk end one one side.  I think that catches people's attention first.

the look of the 6.0 is more unique for sure, but I think tow vehicle also has a lot to do with it. At times I've maxed out my Jeep TJ for short distances towing our 10.0 and thats when I get the most questions. Considering how big the 10.0 behind the Wrangler I cant blame people for having questions.

I've had a few comments...one was a playful "where's the rest of your pop up?" and I heard one young child say "that's a mini mini mini pop up."

Most people impressed and envious of how easy it is to tow.

Yes, I've heard several comments about the size of my 6.0  ("where's the other half" / "hope you only paid half price for it" / etc.) but those that watch me set up or take down are all impressed.

-Sean [/quote]Agree with you there Sean. I get a few questions because of my tow vehicle (Chevy HHR) like that can tow that? Etc....................Plus the close color match always is a good question

I get a ton of inquiries about my 5.0.  All positive, but so many questions that I made up a sheet that has specs and interior diagrams, along with LivinLite's website address.

We wish more people would ask. We have an 8.1, and as rrb said we think we get fewer second looks because it's more conventional looking, both on the road and set up. The question we get most often is, "Where's the roof." Folks are used to seeing a popup with risers and a roof. We at one time had a stack of QS brochures from our dealer that we carried to hand out. I've noticed that the people who seem most likely to ask about it are the tenters who are thinking about moving up. We unashamedly do a real selling job on those folks!

I haven't used ours yet, but have had people stop at the house, both when erected and when folded.  It appears everyone around here knows what they are but has never seen one up close.
