Hi!!! I was wondering if any of you guys use the Zodi shower. I'm very interested in buying one, but the high shipping cost to chile makes me wonder a little bit. I'll only buy it if it is as good as advertised, so that's why I'm asking here to you guys... the experts. My idea is to buy the Zodi and a two room privy tent, so I can have a full bath setup right next to my QS and then we can go camping anywhere whitout any bathroom issues.

Thanks a lot!...

bye!

I looked at it, and it looks nice. I'll probably get the Big Kahuna shower for next season

The shower kits all depend on your end goal. Most of the zodi hot water showers will do an ok job at giving you warm water on demand. This assumes the water is not very cold to start with. The entire concept is similar to a radiator where the small zodi pump runs the water over a heat exchanger and up to the shower head. I personally looked at them but decided to go another way. For me I installed a standard 12v water pump into my 10.0. Then installed a water outlet on near the city water inlet. This way I can heat water over my camp stove and then mix it with cool water in the 7 gallon container which is then used through the pump to feed my 'shower'. I don't know if this does it justice over text but if interested I can try to do a video or get some pictures of the setup.

[/quote]I used a Zodi unit at my cabin for 3 years and it worked fine. I bought the double burner version because I used very cold lake water with it. It will give you a warm, not hot, shower but it's certainly ok for cleaning up. I also bought a better 12V pump (actually a small boat bilge pump) that gave me ok flow. One caveat is the design of the Zodi makes it almost impossible to get all the water out of copper coils. So, mine failed because the water I couldn't get out froze one winter. We now have a Triton 5L that has a drain built in.
