[p]I am thinking about completely remove the sofa and use the platform as a bed by adding a mattress. Maybe I could extend the platform a bit and fill the gap between the queen bed and the sofa platform. Did someone already did that?[/p][p]
[/p][p]I think I have read somewhere here that someone had done that? I think it was mitch?[/p][p]
[/p][p]Any ideas ?[/p][p]

I took my dinette in my 16 db and extended the left side all the way to the bathroom wall so I now have a 6' 3" bed instead of a 5' 4" bed.that enabled most any adult able to sleep pretty comfortably. Not sure if that helps

Yes under the sofa there is the water pump, the furnace and the electrical panel. What i was thinking to do is to remove the jackknife sofa and use the base to put a mattress on. There is a bit of free space in between the sofa and the queen bed that I might want to fill if there is not enough space for the mattress. I'll have to go take measurements

[p]We did this to our 13QBB. My son was always complaining that the fold down was very uncomfortable so I decided to just take it out. The fold down removes with just bolts and needs to be in the fold down position to get out the door. I went to a fabric store that sold foam had them cut me a piece that fit the whole top. He was much more comfortable and we used it that way until we traded the unit in. [/p]
