A  LL Rally will be very interesting and educational; we will definitely try to attend from Athens GA!

Is there a beach there? With an ocean?

A Livin Lite rally could be great fun. Good ideas posted here so far. I've a couple additional initial thoughts. Many folks might be interested in either touring supply factories in the areas (such as Dometic) and, as well, I suspect many aftermarket suppliers (solar systems, tires, batteries, plumbing, electrical, appliances, etc.) might be very interested in sponsoring a rally in part and contributing raffle prizes or door prizes. One of the other forums I participate in (Toyota Land Cruisers) hosts an annual rally out in Colorado where the high points of the weekend are field trips into the mountains. Livin Lite owners are interesting people and there are lots of interesting places within a couple hours drive of Topeka, including Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, museums in Fort Wayne and Auburn, and spectacular state parks in the dunes along Lake Michigan in Michigan. In fact, One of the state parks is only 90 minutes or so from Topeka, so some folks might want to head up there and camp either before or after a rally in Indiana. So, either camping or day type field trips may be a possibility. With regard to timing, what do you know about the demographics of those who buy Livin Lite products and what would be the best time of the year to accommodate them? Summer makes sense for families with kids, fall makes sense for retirees or those without kids. I grew up only about 30 miles east of Topeka and remember the hot, humid summers. The fall colors get really nice in October. If summer ends up the preference, I suggest finding a venue with a large lake that can be a focal point for cool-downs. Although likely too far from the factory to be practical, venues on Lake Michigan offer pleasant temps all summer.

Great stuff so far! We'd like to add our vote for Fall, because we too know how brutal summer is anywhere in the Midwest. Fall might (might!) be more pleasant with fewer fanged flying fiends (mosquitoes).

I can't rule it in/out until more details emerge, but would like more info. I would prefer summer since my son is still school age.  I've never been to this type of thing before..... Do we need to find a local campground?

We would love to go! It will depend on the dates and if we can get off work which can be dicey for us during some weeks of the summer. I really like the idea of having it near the factory, since I am a little biased being originally from the South Bend area and that I still have family there.

As for some of the things I would like to see for activities would be a simple meet and great and sharing of food. I am really interested in seeing how others are setting up solar panels for charging batteries and using in place of electrical hook ups. Also interested in seeing the modifications others have made.

We'll locate the campground, then set dates and a schedule of events. Then- we'll release the registration information for anyone interested!

How would you like the opportunity to meet other Livin Lite owners from all over the country (and Canada)? How would you like an entire weekend to listen to RV experts and vendors talk about YOUR Livin Lite camper? What if the words "free food and Livin Lite gear" were involved.

[/quote]Christian, since several of us live on the West coast and most could not justify the 2000 plus mile trip for a weekend (though we all would love to come) how about some Livinlite involvement in a West Coast get together? There are several of us planning a get together in Oregon in July 2016. We have 5 so far and expect more may sign up as we get a bit closer. What do you think?

"possible west coast rally" thread!

Perhaps a national rally as planned with smaller regional rallies planned for different times?

If the national rally is to be held in Indiana, wasn't this thread moved to the wrong folder? The Great Lakes folder includes Indiana.

I asked her why would we ship a job from Nevada to Indiana when we have a MFG plant in Tennessee? Maybe it's the letters in the spelling of Indiana. It has an A and a D in it so guess you can just pick and choose.  ;)

That would be my fault...I should have looked a bit more closely before clicking save :) Moving to correct area

Ammobob: My family and I are interested in something like this. I live in Tacoma, WA. Let me know if there is a thread regarding this gathering!
