picked it up Tuesday.  my tow vehicle is a new Ram 1500 Limited with diesel engine and air suspension.  it rode fine...there was a little sway......but it was also empty......I am debating on whether or not to get a wd hitch.  I have been going over everything...playing with everything....found out the shower doesn't work......I took apart the faucet and could find nothing obvious...they are sending me a new faucet.......I know the air conditioning works...tried that at the dealer cause I don't have 30 service......I need to change the outside plug at my house so I can get electricity to it......meanwhile, I am filling the cabinets with stuff......we used to have a 34 foot Winnebago so I have lots of stuff!!  I am impressed with the very low demands on electricity........every light is LED.....the tv 12 volt......I will be putting something on the floor...probably the rubber tiles......a friend is getting me a price.....they're not too bad!!

this is a 2015 unit.......there is no gas tank.......and I do not plan on getting a generator in the near future.  can't wit to go on a trip...maybe soon!!!!

Let us know how that new ram does on fuel towing that thing.

I can tell  you that coming home from the dealer I got 15 mpg.....with mixed back roads and highway, in heavy winds....

Nice, I test drove one and really liked it.  Couldn't justify the trade up though. Maybe some day.  How much does your trailer weigh?

Be careful about simply changing a garage outlet from 15/20 amps to 30. Unless you change the wiring to 10 gauge and the panel breaker to 30 amps, it won't meet code. But there is a much simpler, and legal way. Buy a 15 amp male to 30 amp female adapter and plug it in to your existing garage outlet. You can't run everything, like the microwave and the A/C at the same time. But you can run one or the other on 15 amps.

Have been considering a TT or Toy Hauler when we move up to a larger size camper!!!!!![/quote]thanks.....I would think that the size of any trailer depends on the ability of the tow vehicle to pull it and your budget........I have a new Ram 1500 with  a Diesel engine.....it can tow 8400 lbs.......and my wife has all my money!

Been thinking about a 16TBS, 21BHB or Axxess 22. Our Frontier is rated up to 6300lbs tow capacity and will not tow anything over 5000lbs GVW with it. Still have other stuff the Frontier tows easily. Would probably get a 5.7L Tundra or Ram 1500 if we go with a toy hauler. Would only take a 500lb two up bike or 300lb & 400lb bikes with the Toy Hauler.
