How do you protect your RV at home?

We got a gold line cover for our 14 DBS, and overall it is very good.  I have milk crate type devices from Walmart on the roof, to give  it breathing room.  It has three big zippers on each side, so as I am newly retired, on most days I unzip these and open the windows to keep it ventilated as much as possible inside and outside.  It weighs about 40 lbs and fits inside a big duffle bag, so it is relatively easy to store.  Got one a bit longer that covers the lp tanks and all the hitch, and comes to the ground covering The tires.

It is not waterproof, but will shed a light shower.  Dries very quickly.  In Tennessee the UV rays were my first concern.  Will look for something for more for snow as fall approaches, not sure what this will be.  Will send a picture soon, as the cover is off for trip tomorrow.  Would indeed like to build a dedicated roof as noted by another owner, as that is the only way to do this 100% right.

I just bought my first Quicksilver and I have been wondering the same thing. I live in Mich and the winters can be brutal.
I don't have room in my garage so I was wondering if I need to keep it covered. And if so, what should I use?
I am brand new to the world up "pop ups" and I realize I have a lot to learn!

Thanks. I'll give that a try since it sounds simple!
