probably a stupid question but is there one?  if not does cooking bacon and eggs in the morning wreak havoc in the trailer?

[/p][p]Unless you want to spend quality time wiping down every square inch of interior surface with TSP or Janitor-in-a-drum (do they even still make that ?) you should avoid sauté or frying indoors.[/p][p]
[/p][p]We use a Coleman outside, on the picnic table if the campsite has one, or on a folding aluminum table of our own. Bacon and eggs or steak etc. are a big part of our camping cooking. Pan fried fish, too.[/p][p]
[/p][p]Indoors, the cooktop is restricted to reheating soup and other boiling-type cooking. But even then you have to be aware of how much humidity you are introducing which can be its own problem.[/p][p]

Has anyone installed an after-market RV range hood?

Living in Minnesota, and wanting to camp in the early spring and late fall, being able to cook inside is on my 'must have' list.   I am in the 'looking stage' at this time, and am working on the list of  factory options I want to get and the after-delivery mods I will need to do.   Adding a kitchen hood, with a filter for the grease, is now added to post-delivery list.   Years ago, I had a kitchen hood that was not vented; it did a good job of trapping grease.     I hope that running the Fantastic Fan for a short while will get rid of any moisture caused by cooking.    I found a 12 volt hood online, but there was very little information about it, other than the price and dimensions.   The search continues.
