Anybody upgrade to a powered tongue jack?  I just ordered one from [a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IAOWQ0U/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1"]Amazon[/a]  Even though it's listed as a "Prime" product
which usually gets 2 day delivery , my purchase email says delivery in 1-3 months ::)
I'm also not sure how difficult the install will be?
Caution here. I originally bought a Barker jack, but it had a round mounting flange, as does the one you linked. The coupler attachment bolts/washers on the Camplite tongue interfere with the round flanges. I had to send it back and buy the [a href="http://www.amazon.com/Atwood-80756-Black-Deluxe-Heavy/dp/B00BUIRWUW/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1404233897&sr=1-1&keywords=atwood+80756"]Atwood Jack[/a]. It has a triangular mounting flange and fits/works very well. Installation is simple: three bolts and a battery connection. And if the delivery time is months it probably comes directly from China.

Thanks Charlie.  I cancelled that order.   I've ordered the Atwood jack.

Got the Atwood power jack today.  I'll probably install one day this week.  However, looking at the trailer it appears you cant reach the opposite side nuts that how the jack to the tongue.
Do I need to disassemble the  tongue from the trailer?

No dis-assembly required. The coupler has nut plates installed. Just remove three bolts, exchange jacks, and replace bolts and washers.

Thanks Charlie.  I wasn't sure other then I couldn't reach/feel the nuts. It appeared that the complete tongue unit may need removal.
Glad that it isn't the case,  much simpler now.

Be sure to put the internal tooth lock washers between the jack mounting flange and the tongue coupler. They're needed to break through the paint on the jack.

I helped set up a friend's trailer and DARN! - did that powered jack seem slow!

And it's not like I could not use some upper body exercise as it is.

Anyway, for now I just don't see the need.

X2. Strength isnt my issue.  Arthritis is.  I have trouble tying my shoestrings.  I installed the tongue jack this morning.
Have to agree it is slow but my elbow wont be worst for wear.  Next project later today. Installing the shower screen.
