They are easy to remove. I would guess the LED board is bad, but suppose it could be a bad connection. To remove, you first have to pop the black cover off; there are 3 tabs around the perimeter. Be real careful not to break them. Then just 4 small screws to remove the lens. The body w/ the LED board is attached to the wall w/ 2 screws. Check connections & voltage. The entire units go for about $30 i believe.

BTW - I took mine apart to mod the lens. The factory lens is clear and it's pretty bright/annoying at night. I used [a href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000994BUW/"]this[/a] spray to color the lens (paint the inside - i did at least 7 coats). Came out good, still pretty bright though. I may toss a resistor on it to bring it down a bit. I'd also use the orange paint next time instead of the yellow.

Do you know where to order replacement parts for it? I tried removing the dang thing the other day before I read this and couldn't do it. It is snug and I am worried about breaking the thing.

There are a few manufacturers out there that look very similar but have fewer LEDs. The product at the sites below have the same LED count as my VRV (items at both sites are likely the same product based on p/n).

I doubt you'll be able to order individual parts but you could try contacting those sites.

Go at it carefully w/ a plastic pry tool, 1 tab at a time...you'll get it off.

Thank you for the response. I will look at it again when I get a chance.

The yellow is a good idea because as old time farmers know, yellow lights do not attract bugs like any other color will. Not sure why RV manufactures went away from this. They used to all be a yellow lens.
