POOR WELDS

Whats going on with the welds on Campsite TT's. I was reading a post about welds that are failing and decided to check my trailer out. There appears to be a problem with just about every body support bracket thats on the outboard side of the frame rail. They are ether cracked, missing or just tacked. I will have to call in a welder to get this repaired, in fact I will most likely reinforce the brackets, just to be sure of no future problem. I have put up with a lot of really poor QC with this trailer and was willing to overlook it, but at this point, I feel that this issue is a potential hazard. Consider this a notice of a potential hazard, hopefully you'll address it in all future models.

Hi,

Your description of failures is the same as our unit. I would contact LL ASAP as this will now be a familiar issue and could be covered under the frame warranty. So far they have been receptive to our concerns.

Time will tell.

Please post your pictures of the frame failures so all owners can be aware of this issue.

Regards,

Actually, it was your post that motivated me to take a close look at the welds. I'm going to post some pic's next week. I really find it amazing that on some of the brackets only one side was welded, while others were just tacked.
