21RBS Under-Sink Drinking Water Filter

[font size="3"]Thanks to TinkeringTechie for the original inspiration.  The filter is mounted to the frame tubing in the lower cabinet under the sink. I was afraid of supporting the mass of the filled filter with just the supplied bracket under travel conditions so I added a tie down at the bottom, secured by zip ties. Velcro could also be used, but I don't expect to replace the filter every month. The bottom 1x2 is also mounted to the cabinet frame. As usual when I over design a mod, the filter now contributes to the structure     . [/font]

Looks great Charlie! We should probably do that as well. How hard was cutting a hole in the stainless steel sink? Also, did you need to buy anything else (other than what comes with the filter)?

The sink came with three holes. When I first changed out the sink I anticipated such a future mod, but filled the extra holes with soap dispensers. Good thing I/We thought ahead! However, the required hole is only 5/8" and can be drilled in the sink or nearby counter top. Nothing else required except sheet metal screws, the piece of 1x2 [font size="1"]wood[font size="3"][font size="1"],[/font] and two screw eyes.
