cool idea, but it looks like it's just a dry cell battery that uses a salt solution when you want to activate it. Similar to adding acid to a tradition lead battery when you are ready to start using it. I wonder if it can be emptied and stored dry in between uses? Does it need to be "re-charged" with fresh salt water from time to time?

From what I have read it consumes the "power rod" that you have to replace and it uses a Lithium Ion type coating for the reaction that will over time also where out. Good idea but I am very skeptical as they will not put up an un edited video of the item working from start to finish and possibly putting a meter on it. With no tech demo I would not waste my time or money.

I have a BioLite stove that runs a light and can charge your cell phone as well as cook your dinner and uses very little wood. It is a bit steep in price but tiny in size if you are worried about saving space.

I want a system that uses the biolight method of power generation, but with more flexibility. I wouldnt mind something that just "sticks" to a variety of pots to then use the heat as a power source. Ideally that would let me use it with a traditional camp stove, a fire, or a backpacking setup. I'm all about the multi-use options. At last check there isn't anything available like that yet.
