Anyone have pictures of the camplite 13 bhb with tip out bunk on the side of the trailer not the back?  Please share if so.  I am interested in the flow.

that is the back tip out (behind the dinette).  i wanted to see one that shows the tip out where the bunk house would be (on the side of the trailer).  anyone have that?

like is it not a bunk house but a twin with tip out behind it?  or nothing (open floor tip out?)?

the floor plans shows it as possible but don't indicate how it would look.

A picture of the interior with the folded up tipout can be seen by [a href="http://livinlite.proboards.com/thread/549/finally-custom-camplite?page=3"]CLICKING HERE[/a] .  The tent material can be seen on the sofa.

An exterior picture can be seen on this page by [a href="http://livinlite.proboards.com/thread/912/2015-spring-gathering-table-rock"]CLICKING HERE[/a] and scrolling down until you see Leslie's red 21BHS with the side tipout.

Hope that helps.

in the 13 floor plan it shows the tip out on side toward the back corner...

in her pic it shows bhs on opposite wall (corner) from tip out...with tip out at the sofa.  different flow.  but thanks for digging.

I had no luck finding pics of a tip out model of either the 13BH or 16BHB. :(

But I've seen them in the past. IIRC, on both the 13BH and 16BHB, the space where the bunks are will be bare floor, with a bicycle-sized access door at the back and the bed/canvass for the tip out on the side, taking up some of the space where the bunks normally are. The idea was that you can open up the rear access door and shove your bikes in the space where the bunks normally are.

like a toy hauler?

Wonder if they can do it without that door but install a lower bunk or twin, just not the top one?  That is what I was hoping for.  Thanks for filling me in.

They can do a lot of custom changes. For example, Leslie's 21BHS is not normally available with a tip out. They built it at her request.

Like a toy hauler, but the back door is only about 2' wide by 4' tall. The bike is the toy, not the 4wheeler.

You want a tip out plus a lower bunk? I'd assume they can built that. If you want a lower bunk but not a tip out, that's easy. Buy a bunk model and take the top bunk out. (That's what I did.) Scroll down to the bottom of [a href="http://livinlite.proboards.com/thread/684/camplite-16bhb-mods-aluminum-shelving"]this thread[/a] to see what that looks like.

I am back to civilization and internet access after our latest RV trip. kiyote, if you plan to order your Camplite, Livin Lite will work with you to get you the interior design that you want. If you want a tip-out bunk with nothing in front of it, or something else in front of it, talk to your dealer. I wanted several things that were not on the order form, so my dealer, Sunny Island RV, had me write what I wanted on the order form. The salesman also called the factory several times to make sure we were all on the same page.

Bottom line is, you can get what you want, but you will pay extra for it.

A note about the tip-out bunk - I did not ask about the dimensions. Mine is just a little wider than a twin bed, and someone taller than about 5'6" will have to sleep diagonally because it is so short. If I were to do it all over again, I would ask Livin Lite about a longer bunk.

Also, a larger bunk will weigh more, and require more effort to close up. At first, closing up the tip-out bunk by myself wore me out, but I am working through the learning curve, and it is getting easier for me to handle by myself. I am a woman of average height. It is important for me to be able to do everything concerning the RV, so that if my husband, for some reason, can't do it, then I can. (He fell carrying a case of wine out of the camper. The wine was undamaged, and so was he, but I am just saying...)
