I got an awning for my 10.0

its great, nice, kinda neat - but its so strange that the wheel and undercarriage of the 10.0 is open to the outside world.
i have a screen room, yet bugs get in :)

decided to make this, took me a while, had to call my mom over twice or so, she was so happy to help tho :)

I would suggest a "Skirt" and a [strong]BLUE [/strong]one.

The "skirt" looks great Clyde. You could probably start a business making those for rv owners everywhere: Clydeglobal RV Skirt Co.

X2. looks great and well made!! would do well for insulating in the cold months...maybe no more cold floors?

now my add a room, awning is fully enclosed, I think. (I haven't took it out in a 2 weeks, been raining like crazy here in Austin, TX)

That is an outstanding job, Clyde! We've never bothered with an awning (miss it mostly when it's raining), and it had been noted several times on the old Yahoo forum that the screen room had the problem of being wide open to invaders from the rear. Your solution is elegant and beautifully crafted. PEIslander is correct: you could sell them!  :) (But I still don't want an awning or screen room...)

Clyde that is awesome and a really cool idea! We do have the awning (zip on). Is it made out of denier nylon?

husaberger

Thanks guys

yeah its denier nylon - it has a slight rubber or similar type backing, and pretty waterproof too

bought at Hancock Fabrics for like 5 bucks a yard at their clearance, purchased in the outdoor fabric section.

I also bought some of the same fabric but in white, to patch a hole or two that I've found in my 10.0 (i bought the camper used from craigslist) I use Tear Mender Bish Fabric and Leather Adhesive (its latex it seems) it sticks on great and stays on - yet to test it tho.

Denier nylon is really tough. Its the same stuff many of the tougher dog toys are made of these days.
