baffled me that LL only put a single tank and a single battery on my vrv.  luckily, expanding both that was easy.

first i removed the single lp tank bracket and replaced it with a dual from amazon.  came with all of the necessary pieces.  i only have a single regulator at this time, so i have to switch the tanks manually, but i will upgrade some time in the future.  i currently use a hose to run my grill off the tank not connected to the camper.  keeps me from having to use the little green bottles.

for the batteries i used steel angle (with the holes in it for convenience) spaced just far enough apart for the battery boxes to fit in.  a couple decent-sized bolts and all was secure

since this all allowed me to move the tanks and batteries forward, i used the now empty space for my fuel station (more on that here... http://livinlite.proboards.com/thread/945/fuel-station ).  again, i used steel angle for the tank

The 14DBS comes with 2 tanks, manual change, which is how I prefer. I would rather run one tank dry then switch to the other and know it's time to refill the first tank, than run 2 tanks down equally and find out at the end that I'm out, with...I'm completely out.

Question on the power jack - does it have a manual option ? I mean, what happens when you run both batteries dry, and then you need to hook up ? Do you just connect to the running TV and then have power to the jack ?

It does.  Comes with a crank and a pin that you insert to flip a lever that engages the manual crank.  Use it all the time in the winter whem the batteries are not installed

Id like to mount my 2 Honda 2000 watt generators on a rack above my batteries/tanks. Anyone seen any options besides custom?

Note that the OP probably added at least 100 lbs to his tongue weight with another battery, propane tank and his fuel tank. His one ton Gimmy can certainly handle it. But others should think about this effect before loading up the tongue weight.

the tank is 12.5 gal so full it will add 100 lbs (@8lbs per gallon).  add to that the extra battery (45 lbs), a 2nd full propane tank at 37lbs (17lb tare weight plus 20lbs of propane), plus the miscellaneous hardware holding it all on (about 10 lbs) and you are at 192lbs of additional tongue weight
