A coiled-up gas hose under the trailer?

[p]While doing some wiring today I noticed a coiled-up gas hose mounted forward near the hitch, under the trailer floor. This is fed from a tee in the gas line after the tank reg. Looks to be ~8ft and is capped obviously. Is this an accessory hose? A condensation trap of some kind? I'd like to take advantage of this to plumb our BBQ grille if I could.[/p]

I definitely don't have that on mine...   weirdly enough I've been under mine several times installing a quicky flush and wiring a backup camera, and extra reverse lights to backing up the trailer at night.    I wonder if they plumbed it as an accessory hose and never finished it.

Some 2012 13 QBB trailers had a bracket on the side where one could mount the interior stove assembly and turn it into an outside stove.  Right next the bracket was a hole through which a propane line could be pulled and connected to the outside stove assembly. This option was discontinued before the 2013 models came out. I wonder if your hose was some sort of carry over from that.

I wondered if there was an option for a bracket mounted grill back in 2013. It's the only thing I could think of. At first glance I thought maybe they failed to connect the water heater but it's all good.

Thanks for confirming that it is not some sort of condensate trap. If you guys don't have it there is no such thing. So, bonus! Sort of. The grill we bought requires no regulator at the tank. It is designed to be fed from the tank direct. Might still be useful if we eventually get an external on demand water heater or if we decide to take the generator sometime.

[p]Quick flush going in tomorrow. How'd you find the mounting of it? What direction did you shoot it? Heard conflicting info on which way to shoot it. I've heard a few say to mount it low in the tank with a shut-off too.[/p][p]

I havent been the unlucky recipient of "spray poo" but have witnessed it. Had a Nuke ELT do it no less then 6 times on a patrol. Ignore the "Blowing Sanitary" sign you will be wearing "Sprayed Poo". (puke)

[/p][/quote]IIRC I mounted it per the instructions on the side away from the drain pipe. ( about underneath where the toilet is) up 2-3" from the floor of the tank.  I ran the hose out with zip ties on various points under the trailer and mounted the hose connector mount on a screw for the diamond plate that just happened to be near the tank dump.    I have a leftover garden hose shutoff valve I added to the connector so i can shut off the water and/or control water pressure.   The first time I used it the hose shot off the flusher due to too much pressure....the backflow preventer worked luckily!!!!!

Also,  just remember the quicky flush works just OK for me.   I still periodically get the wand that goes in through the toilet and wash well.
