I wish it were aluminum, but.... essentially a pegboard box with 12 casters inset on the bottom which ride on two wooden "rails". Note the caster legs above the box which prevent it from "sagging" when extended. It weighs about 40 pounds, but allows us easy access to the basement which, otherwise,[attachment id="575" thumbnail="1"][attachment id="576" thumbnail="1"][attachment id="577" thumbnail="1"] would be very hard to reach. We'll give a good test run in the next three weeks. Continued on next post.

Nice!

In the Livin Lite Camplite photo gallery on their web site there are photos of a sliding storage tray for the pass-through that's available as an optional accessory. I was thinking about how useful that could be and it looks like your box would be perfect to go on the tray and keep stuff corralled.

I went to the site. Thanks. I could not find a list of options to see what they would charge for their slide out tray. Anyone out there know how much it would cost??

I had searched the web and saw units that were $400 plus dollars. Mine wasn't close to that.

I am very impressed!  I love it.   You could even section areas off within the box for various items.  That is about the best mod I've seen on here.    Could you describe/show pictures the track you used and how it is secured to the trailer?

I thought I had a picture of the track. It is a prime 2x4 from Lowes, ripped to 1 3/4" and then ripped down again to 1". It has a 3/4" dado routered through it, 3/8" deep, to keep the caster wheels in line. I ran a small self tapping screw through the weather stripping of the lip of the hatch into each end of the track, to keep it in place. Hope that helps.

The pass-through slide storage tray is Livin Lite part #2106. I also have not found a price, but next time I'm at the dealer I'm going to ask. It could be steep. Last time I was at the dealer I checked on getting the simple table with folding legs that's in the 16DBS for use in our 16TBS and it was $150. Since that seemed at least 2X a reasonable price, it was an easy decision to pass.

I have that table... $150??? Wow! Half that would be a gracious plenty..

The only thing I would suggest is a coat of grey paint on your drawer.   That much wood on a camplite is hurting my eyes!  ;)
