I just bought a slightly used 2015 with queen bed and sofa floor plan.  I had wanted a model with with a dinette instead of the sofa, but couldn't find one.  Is it possible to replace the sofa
with the two person dinette at the factory without much hassle?

[font size="3"]The basic answer is yes, but...........

The components are common and interchangeable, but recently the factory has shown they are not interested in, and/or not prepared for, any custom work.

And.....it looks like LL is no longer offering the 16DB at all? If so, they likely wouldn't have the parts anymore. Also they are also no longer offering parts through the factory; you have to go through a dealer for even DIY projects for parts.

[font size="3"]Since the 16DB has no slide it should be pretty straight forward to remove the sofa. Bench seats could be fabricated from wood (yeah, I know) with wood or aluminum framing. You would have to work around the wheel well. There are many options for the table including free standing, post on the floor, or attached to the wall. It could also be built to collapse into a single bed. Depends on how creative and handy you are.

Contact him directly for more details. Better yet, get a case of his favorite beer. He might come and help  ;) .
