Finding the wall studs

We have a 14DBS and wanted to find the wall studs to mount screws into the bath wall framing, such as a T.P. hanger, towel rack etc. I found that an electronic wall stud finder such as a Zircon will work fine to locate them. It works on the interior bath wall, and may  work on the outside walls. The bath door is solid material and it will not locate studs on the bath door.
