braces for black and gray water tanks

When checking the black and gray water tank, I saw the the braces did not encase the tanks.  There was a 2 or more inch distance from the brace to the tank on the sides.  Is this normal?  I have a 2016 TBS, that I believe was on of the last built on the dual axles.

[font size="3"]No problem as long as the brackets are snug and the screws are all there and tight. The sides of the tanks are constrained by molded in rails. The brackets support the weight when full and support the center of the bottom of the tanks when they bow.

[/quote]Would it be possible for you to post a photo?  I agree with Charlie that yours are likely ok, but there has been at least one other thread on this forum showing very serious problems with tank support installation. Also, in my 16TBS, the braces were sloppily installed and the grey tank supports were reversed. A photo or 2 would show what's going on with yours.

[font size="3"]Not a problem. The sideways movement of the tanks is constrained by the lips molded into the tank and the rails in the trailer frame. The braces hold the weight and help correct bowing when full.
