I know I should know this, but.......

what is the proper tire pressure for my 21rbs??

Getting ready to make a BIG trip and need to know ASAP

There should be a sticker on the tongue with the GVWR, the axle ratings and the tire pressures. This is LL supplied data. On my trailer the tongue sticker says 50 psi as does the tire sidewall which is supplied by the tire manufacturer, well duh!. So following the tire sidewall is a good idea if you can't find the sticker.

My Maxxis tires say 50 PSI, I run them at 48 to allow for a little heat build up especially in warmer weather.

I was told tire company's allow for summer heat and pressure build up. I would suggest to fill them to the max. Also, it's rated as cold tire pressure.  Best time to fill them up is before you take off and before the sun is beating down on them, if you want max pressure.
