I'm the noob on the board (working on buying my first trailer), so I'm trawling the interwebs for useful info.

I've found some very useful organizations like the Rubber Manufacturer Association and the Propane Council, and both have tons of good info for end users like us.  In fact, I've noticed that some of the RV books quote entire paragraphs from these sources!

So far, I've found:

http://www.rma.org/

Not only info for end users, but you can often get the same info that they provide to technicians in the field, too.  For instance, RMA Bulletin #33 tells me all about "preparation of
injuries not requiring reinforcement or section
repairs to steel belts during the retreading
process", which illustrates the depth of information that you can get for free.  These two seem to be spot on for users like us:

http://www.rma.org/wp-content/uploads/RMA_TireCareSafetyGuide_2013.pdf

Buried in this cheery doc is how to spot a propane cylinder that (possibly) has been used in a meth lab!

Anyway, these orgs seem pretty handy, so I thought that I'd mention them and ask if anyone knows of similar groups that might have useful info for RV'ers.

Thanks,

David
