Do you miss your Camplite (or Quicksilver)

My husband and I store our Camplite at a storage facility 3 miles from our apartment. When we are not camping, I miss my Camplite. I have to go over there every few days, okay, sometimes every day, as my husband likes to tell me.

When you are not camping, do you miss your Camplite (Quicksilver)? Do you think your camper feels lonely if you are not checking on it, and perhaps spend a few minutes at least sitting in it, just so it knows it hasn't been abandoned?

Ours is parked next to the house and we go out and sit in it on the weekends. Laura loves the bed so much she has actually taken naps in it sitting in the driveway. I visit it most every evening after work and our dogs watch it everyday. They sleep under it (in the shade it provides) during the day so they can watch everything that is going on in the yard and out the gate. Plus they can see the rabbits heading to our lawn for a snack. Of course they are Corgies and with 3" legs don't stand a chance but they try. We have only had it for a couple of months now so it's new and I am sure it's only the initial attachment.

I keep my 10.0 parked under my back porch. When I find myself walking by it I tend to give it a pat, and a "that a girl".

x2 on napping in the trailer....best naps ever!

Back in the day my wife's grandparents didn't have central air so they all but moved into their airstream in the back yard during the hottest part of the summer  (now).   :)

ok I admit it.my camplite sits on my driveway and I look for an occasional  reason to go out and look for something that my need attention. For example I went out and washed it yesterday.Today coming home for work I just had to go inside and check to make sure the fridge door was open . Tomorrow, I'm  sure something will come up

I used to miss our trailer. I'd try to find a reason to go fix or upgrade something. But currently we're actually living full-time in it while we finish building our house, so I see it all day whether I want to or not. I hope that once the house is finished I'll still enjoy visiting it. So far it's actually holding up pretty well considering we've got two little kids that aren't nearly as careful as my wife and I. We really just use it for the bathroom and sleeping, so I guess I still enjoy visiting it to go to sleep.

[p]I do not. I live on such a small piece of land that I find it in the way every day of the week. I have a boat and trailer, an enclosed utility trailer, an E250 service van, an outdoor work bench and a shed sharing a 16' by 40' area. When we go out with the boat or TT it's like playing musical chairs...shuffling all the trailers around is annoying. But I would not be able to sleep having any one of them out of view of my security camera network/system in my area. Outboards disappear like vapor, trailers broken into and vandalized/lived-in, utility trailers stolen like they are of value beyond their worth....[/p][p]
[/p][p]Insurance is one thing but missing a month of using these is another entirely.[/p]
