I thought the tracking device was implanted at the base of the skull.    Pretty "Progressive"  I think....
...ouch!  Also hand and forehead  O_o.

Good to see you returning to your spunky self, Shovelhead.  How's rehab coming along?  How's Bella and the white guy? (For trouble-seeking lurkers , did refer to the 'white guy' because I forgot the dog's name!  Geesh...never know these days, especially when 'Oregon' is in the subject line, just ...never know.  :-/)

No rehab yet.  Had the CT scan last week. The company takes 4-6 weeks to make the prostheses. They 3-d print from the CT scan and make it from titanium. Supposedly since it's an exact copy of my knee recovery is expedited.  I'm guessing mid-late August. Some much going on I cant get a week of camping in.  Moonshine (The White Guy) is doing great he and Bella are a couple wingnuts.  They play but she is boss and he knows it.  He is losing two of his little friends next Thursday.  I cant bear to tell the big boy but it cuts down on "marking".  As far as me being spunky.. it comes with age I guess.  Just have to watch my mouth  since I'm not one of "them"....  :-)

Moonshine!  Love it...couldn't be a more perfect name for a white guy from Georgia!  (For any lurkers, Moonshine would be a great name for your dog too...sheesh.)

Good to hear that you're getting through this knee replacement thing with spirits high.  Pretty amazing the advances technology has brought.  Dogs' companionship sure helps too, eh?  Man's best friend... :P.

P.S. Condolences to Moonshine on his upcoming alterations.  Just don't change his name to Caitlyn...I better go now.

This stuff is amazing to me. Instead of simply raising the gas tax and getting more money from folks that drive more, they complicate it by adding a device to your vehicle and creating many more government jobs to track and keep up with the new system. Here in GA they just eliminated the tax incentive on electric vehicles, charged all electric owners a separate fee of $200.00 per year for owning an all- electric vehicle; too many folks buying electric cars and not enough gas. I now understand why there are so many stop lights out there to create stop and go traffic, more gas consumed and more taxes. GGGEEEEE!

Nevada has been considering a mileage-based tax for years, so I'm sure our politicians will be watching Oregon closely.
