Though living in Arizona our season is yearlong and since I retired after 34 years of firefighting looking forward to more trips with the camper, the tent, the backpack and bicycle camping. As for new gear my thoughtful and somewhat comical coworkers purchased a collapsible camp rocker as a retirement gift. Though I will admit we are not ready to spend full time on the patio, being slightly older and wider at the navel, I will need to upgrade my sleeping pad for backpacking and bicycle camping to a model that is thicker and wider.
I've looked at those collapsible camp rockers a couple of times. Joking or not I like the idea of having them; I could see rocking in front of a camp fire in the evening at the camp ground. Plus its a lot easier to setup vs. a hammock.
