Title: Fastway Flip Jack
Post by: jtelles3993 on March 05, 2015, 12:51:02 PM
In the process of researching WDH/anti-sway devices, I became intrigued with Fastway's Flip Jack. It seemed like a pretty slick idea to me and the reviews were mostly good. So I ordered one and it arrived today (fast shipping from Tweety's, fyi). Install was straight forward and it works as advertised - a simple and clever device.

Plenty of YouTube vids out there if you wanna see it in action. So here it is on my 21RBS  (2-1/4" O.D. FlipJack):

This really is a brilliant product. Looks great too. I like their One Step Wheel chocks as well!

I need to be careful adding weight, as you may remember, because of my undersized TV. Do you have any feel for how much this item weighs? Is it around 5, 10 or 20 lbs?

Whoofit, the FedEx shipping label said 5.5lbs.. It was definitely light, no more than that I'm sure.

Showed my husband.  We are thinking that this is a pretty neat idea. Eliminates having to take the wheel back and forth and possibly leaving it behind as we have done in that past with one of our popups. We have also replaced one wheel on our Aframe as they are plastic and seemed to wear. Looks pretty easy to install also.

I found these in the 6' version at the local Tractor Supply. Bought one and was going to install it at the site this weekend. Looked closely at the terrain there and decided to get the 4" one instead. We will need to order this as TC does not deal with the 4" one. With our lower TV and the site grade like it was I'm not sure the 6" one would have been best for us.

I learned that these can supposedly be deployed horizontally in cases such as ours. No experience but just something I've read.

With your TT level, if the coupler is about knee high, like mine, you'll need the 6". Yes, it's easy to install.
