Hey from upstate NY!
Started out with a converted Ford van almost 40 years ago...moved to a 18' Steury pop-up for a few years. Sold that then mostly tent camped for a few decades.
Bought a new Funfinder x21 in 2006....got about 100 days of "fun" camping out of that rig. Had some major water leakage in 2009 & as a consequence...major wood rot!!! Scrapped that puppy. Stayed in the back of the truck (cap) in 2010 & 11....camped in a 10 foot cargo trailer with a cot last year....gettin too old!!!!
Decided this winter to move up to a genuine RV again.....ordered a 2014 Camp Lite 8.6- No wood, no steel....no rot!! Can't wait!!!
Congrats! It is a nice feeling knowing that even if the trailer does leak, you won't have to "scrap" it.:)
