Hi, I am trying to remove the door where my water pump is located and they seem to have used T type screw, I have up to T25 screwdrivers and wasn't able to remove the screw, I am going to go to hardware store tomorow to try to find the good screwdriver but if someone know what type I need it would help. Thank you
Nearly all of the screws on our trailer are double square (8 points, not 6 like the torx). They're designed to work with square drive or robertson bits. Specifically a #2 square seems to be used on almost everything.
This little fact was incredibly frustrating for me the first time I had to remove one of those screws. At least now I have a use for those random bits that seem to come in every set I have (yet have never had to use until now).

I have yet to see a single one strip out... I can't say the same for the phillips.
I've stripped a few torx bolts and bits working on my jeep. The small screws tended to have the bit strip more easily. The larger ones were usually rusted in place and with the torque needed to break them free it was easy to be out of alignment and strip the head. Although even what stripped it wasnt totally stripped so I would still go with that over a philips any day. The square drive seems much more secure so far.
