Title: RV Antifreeze
Post by: mitch on October 12, 2014, 01:04:54 PM
Just FYI, I just finished winterizing the water system in my 13 QBB.  With the water heater in bypass it takes about a gallon and a half to get the antifreeze through the complete system.

Wish my 13qbb had a bipass.   (Sigh)

Put one in. Camping World sells a bypass kit for $16.77. Less than the cost of the antifreeze to fill the water heater.

Will probably do something like that eventually.  Their kit doesn't mesh up too well with my mess.  It is a mess of pex under my sofa with very little room to work.  I will end up assembling a bipass kit of my own.
