Title: Finally a sale! 16 TBS having it our way!
Post by: nmken on August 07, 2014, 04:54:21 PM
What a difference the dealer makes - our 3rd dealer (World Wide RV in Phoenix) was able to hustle a quote together in 3 days - so much for waiting on slackers in Co.  We've got all our options except the deep sink included.  Supposedly we are getting into a queue for a 6 wk delivery - planning to pick it up in Indiana.

Exciting times!

I am glad to hear that you got it worked out. It appears 3 of us will be getting our Camplites about the same time, but I think Funpilot will be the first of the custom orders for delivery. Let us know when you hear more.

Wait a minute! Are you picking yours up at the factory? We told our dealer that we would be willing to go to the factory to get ours. This should make things go even faster.

Dealer said the tank monitoring system in the 2015 xl package is seelevel.  The 2015 list is very different from the 2014 list - overall I'd say they've added a lot of value to their 2015's and not moving the price.  Including the list - I assume this is ok to share on the forum.

If they've already switched then that would be great. It also would mean they were only using the probe type for a few months.

[font size="3"]Yes, interesting. I really like the expanded/added option list. For example the black tank flusher and gas/electric WH. However, if it were me I'd get real confirmation that the tank monitor is SeeLevel. See Tinkering's comment. Dealers have been known to be wrong. For a long time dealers thought the "high power vent" option was a Fantastic. Not so.

Question for the pros - what is a good levelling system?  I've looked at the wedge-shaped Andersen rapid jack that looks very easy and reliable but I have not actually seen anyone using these - seems all RVers are using big ugly yellow blocks.  Are the yellow blocks (any brand suggestions?) the way to go?

They're really easy and quick, but I don't trust them alone to hold the rig because the plastic is pretty slippery. I combine them with the Camco wheel stops to make it even more stable and secure.

As I have posted in other threads, I asked for the SeeLevel and was told it was not available.  As you might imagine, I sent the link to this thread to LL and asked if this is correct.  Will let you know if I learn anything.

Congrats NMken and thanks for posting the info. We like the 16TBS model but for the time being we still enjoy our Quicksilver popup and tent camping.

Guess that means I'll be installing it on my own... They wrote in the fantastic vents into the quote so this is the only surprise I'm going to get.....

Just heard LivinLite will start building ours in very early September!  Counting down to the cross country trip to pick it up!  Being told the build takes 6 weeks - anyone have experience on how closely LL can estimate their deliveries out of the factory!?

Congratulations! I have not yet heard about when my 21-BHS will start on the production line.

If you got the timeline from LL then that is what you can expect. When I had my 21 bhs built I spoke to LL production and the timeline was very accurate. It only takes about a week to build once it gets a slot into production.
