Title: Talladega Fall
Post by: uscg on October 25, 2016, 01:53:08 AM
Just got back from the Fall race, not nearly as many campers there as the summer or last year, attendance at NASCAR events has been off this year at all the tracks, I would say maybe only 30000-40000 campers this year, I only saw one other camplite.  I know some will say my generator is going to rip the bumper off, it has rode back there for a lot of miles so far, and you cant see it, but I have bracing under the bumper to spread the support out, plus the Honda only weighs 48 lbs or so.  I also do not leave it on the bumper at the camp site, this picture was took when we were getting ready to leave, but waiting a few hours for traffic to clear out

just a couple more pics for those interested, I know most people could care less about cars going in a circle or camping with NASCAR fans

Nice pictures thanks for sharing.
It looks like you have everything fixed up just right.
Part of the fun for me is messing around with the TT adding those finishing touches.
Seems like it will be never ending (thank goodness).
Camp on.

Looks like a good trip, thanks for posting the pictures! I've never been to Talladega, but I take our 13QBB up every year to Watkins Glen NY for NASCAR, IMSA and SVRA (vintage) races and always have a great time. I actually don't follow NASCAR too closely these days, but the camping is still fun ;)
