I just installed a Dexter #10 lift kit on my Camplite 21RBS. It went on without any issues and installation took about three hours, (my brother and I took our time). Anyone looking to get some extra hight will appreciate these kits. Here is a after and before pic.

Is this for a larger wheel/tire install or are you going to places you need more ground clearance? Are there other advantages? Looks very doable (even without the brother).

Well,,, I damaged two of the original tires camping last month. I ordered four new tires that I thought were the same size, all the numbers matched but the new tires were about 1.5 taller and slightly wider. The new tires looked tight in the wheel well and I wanted a little more clearance anyway,,, so I installed the lift kit. Plus some of the places we go don't always have clean, (roots, rocks, ect) and level trailer sites.[/quote]
I don't want to be a spoiler here but I thought I saw a Thread on this same set-up awhile back and it caused some issues with the stock welds. I did do a search but couldn't find anything. Does anyone here remember the Dexter axle lift kit that caused some issues and Livin-lite refused the claim.
That would be interesting, if somebody has any information on this I would like to hear about it.

I found that post, (back in Sept 2015). Although possible, I would think it was a weld issue more then adding the risers. But, anything is possible, i'll just have to keep an eye on it. I don't believe adding 2 1/2 inches would put enough lateral stress on the weld to snap them, if so, then the weld would be marginal at best to begin with.
The person who put up the post felt the damaged weld should have been covered under warranty, I think most of us know that when you modify anything that still is under under warranty, you run the risk of voiding that warranty.

Please make sure you really watch your welds. Currently my rig is being repaired because of bad workmanship. The failures are brutally bad on the slide side. If you notice braces that are just tacked have them welded. We travel a lot on gravel roads throughout the Rockies. Now, I do not think these units can take that use. Just my opinion.

There is without a doubt, a lot of poor quality control in the construction of these trailers. Almost all the welds on the body frame are , what can only be described as sloppy. But, only time will tell how it holds up, this is my second year of traveling with this TT and so far no major issues. I still like the fact it has no wood, so I'm willing to overlook some of the quirky issues I've had with the trailer.
What lift kit for the 11FK?
