Was scanning the LL website looking for a picture of the four person dinette in a 16RBS, but came across the new sofa option offered on the 16TBS:

The arm rests and swing out trays look interesting, and might swing me back to considering the sofa (its just the two of us)...
We like this model and like the sofa setup with the swing away table. The pass through storage compartment with the slide out tray is an excellent idea, we had slide out trays on our fire trucks. Much easier and quicker to access items.
I looked closely at the slide out from Lance and am wondering which is better. LL's will easily let you put any length on their slide out but my imagination says small things will fall off. We have the sofa bed in our 16TBS. If I had to do it again, I would get the dinette and then make a sofa by adding a few cushions and pillows. This way you have the best of both worlds! See the forum thread for 'Great Idea Two Seat Dinette from D&H RV'. There is also a picture. The sofa bed is not all that comfortable and the trays are not really worth it. We bought our unit sight unseen so didn't get to sit on the sofa before we bought it. Make sure you sit on one before ordering to make sure that it what you want.

Were you looking at the 21RBS? I have never seen a 16RBS unless this is a new model they have come out with.
Sorry I did mean to say the 16DBS. I like the longer slide and we're trying to decide on which dinette option or the sofa option(s). I'm still leaning towards the four person dinette. LL doesn't list it but I saw it at a dealer here. Unfortunately for me, but good for them, they are moving their inventory and so it's not online to share a link.

Yes - the u-shaped dinette.
livinthegoodlife helped find this photo of the new dinette... Does anyone else think this looks a little uncomfortable for two people sitting across from each other?
Otherwise the size is perfect.
Ah, that's kinda disappointing. It's the same old 2-person dinette with seats that extend further into the main floor, not a bigger slideout. So it comes out of the floorspace, not the exterior.
Also, I'd have to rotate that table 90deg for my belly.
