I recently noticed that the door on my 21RBS rubs the awning (not extended). Has anyone else experienced this and is there a fix? It doesn't look like the whole mechanism can be adjusted upwards without remounting the whole thing and even that may not be possible. I really don't want to see the old screw holes if it has to be moved, but on the other hand I don't want the door wearing a hole in the awning. The awning also sticks on the left side when I extend it but giving it a pull solves that problem for now. I will be talking to the dealer about both.

You are not the only one to notice this. Somewhere on here is a thread discussing it. I think it's charliem who put a stop at the bottom so the arm that folds out sits higher when stowed. My personal solution was to always lift the arm that folds out up onto the top of the vertical channel that is mounted to the side of the trailer so that the arm sits flush within the entire length of the channel when locked down.
There is a stop on the awning when the awning is stowed, the awning needs to be sitting on this stop when it is stowed for travel (so it locks the top of the awning in).
When parked, if I don't have the awning extended I lift the awning up 1 notch and this will clear the door. Just remember to return the awning back to the stop before travel (add that item to your checklist).

[/font][/quote]This is the right idea, but I would caution moving the stop as the awning needs to rest on this while travelling such that the top of the awning is locked in.
As I suggested, leave the stop where it currently is, but when parked, use the handle to lift the awning one hole such that it clears the door. Return to the stop when travelling.

[font face="comic sans ms" size="3"]The weather gods offered me some late afternoon sun. Moved the stops up one and the awning now clears the door. Even the problem with the left side sticking is solved. Tested and AOK. I owe you all a beer! Thanks again.
