Post by: charles0403 on August 15, 2016, 12:15:20 PM
Was wondering if anyone could confirm that LivinLite will be represented at the PRVCA event being held from September 14-18 at Hershey, PA? Thanks!

It's possible, but I doubt it.    Last year they had about a dozen or so trailers brought in by Harold's RV, Bath, PA.  I just visited both the livinlite website and HaroldsRV.  Livinlite no longer listed harolds as a dealer and Harolds does not have anything in inventory newer than 2016 so I think that relationship may have ended.

I hearby take back my previous posting!   They WILL be there sponsored by Ansley RV!   Hard to say how many trailers they will bring but their allotted area looks pretty small.

It looks like they will be in section E9 between Newmar and Forest River...almost in front of the Giant Center.

I just drove by Harold's RV yesterday while visiting family in the area and was disappointed not to see any LL products on their lot. As we were approaching the lot I told my wife to get ready to see several LL's out front, as we've never seen any others in our travels...alas there were none there, so I guess the non-sighting steak continues! tbones is correct. Ansley RV will be there along with Ron Wiseman from Livinlite.
There will be at least a 7x20 Quicksilver VRV, a 6.8 Truck Camper, a 16DBS Camplite Travel Trailer and a QuickSilver 8.0 on display.

Very cool, just ten miles away. Anxious to see an 8.0. The only QS I have seen in person is my 6.0. I am considering an upgrade so this should be nice.

I'll definitely be stopping by the LL display...just not sure what day yet.   Will grab some pictures if I see anything cool.

I just returned from the RV show in Hershey, PA. What an experience. The largest show in America. Ansley RV was there with Livinlite. I was so excited to see a QS besides my QS6. I spent quite a bit of time in the QS 8. Now I know what others are talking about. It is so much nicer to see them after reading about them for several months. The same with the toy hauler and 16DBS Camplite. After comparing to dozens of other trailers, I was even more impressed with Livinlite.
I decided that my next purchase will be a QS 8.0. The dog and I are going to pull it with our new $600,000 Entegra RV. ???

The people from Ansley RV and Livinlite were extremely nice and quick to answer questions. I hope I helped them by telling everyone I met what a great experience that my family has had with my QS6.

Ahh cool.   I also was there today!  The LL display was fairly busy and the salesman was hussling so we didn't talk to anyone.  If anyone else is planning on going it's just 4 units: a 16DBS, at VRV, a truck camper, and the QS popup.   There are medicine cabinets/mirrors in the camplite and vrv bathrooms now.   I don't know if that was a 2016 feature or if they added that for 2017?  My 2013 16DB had an access door in the back to the bottom shelves of the cabinets in the rear, but the 2017DBS did not have that.   I really liked that feature and kept my camp stove and grill there....bummer they elimited it just to save small cost.

Overall the show seemed as large and busy as always!  Most of it was clearly the same-old junk....acres and acres of Forest river, keystone, and Jayco, coachmen.     Super C motor homes seem to be growing in popularity.  Went into a $500k (show price) Newmar diesel pusher on a full bus chassis...wow, just wow!  The salesman had a jacket and tie on which cracked me up since all the others were wearing T-shirts or at most golf shirts.  I'm suprised they didn't have someone walking around with Hors d'oeuvre tray.

I did notice a couple of new brands of small campers including a new fiberglass egg type with a popup roof not available until early 2017.  Airstream has a new tiny model with a flat roof that was really nice, but of course had a price tag to match. The Winnebego teardrop microminnies seemed pretty nice.   Ford had a big display including the new aluminum superduty pickup and the F150 w. the 10 speed transmission.

Thanks for run-down on the show this year. I had considered going this year (about 90 min. away) but since I just bought a larger tow vehicle recently I didn't want to tempt myself too much with other possibilities ;)

[/quote]I heard about those on the RV Travel Atlas podcast.  Hymer?  German company.  They sounded DE-luxe.

Thanks for the updates.

Yep Hymer.. here's their Hershey Show link:  http://www.gohymer.com/2016/09/12/erwin-hymer-group-north-america-inc-introduces-new-models-for-roadtrek-and-hymer-at-hershey-pa/

They looked VERY well built, but a bit too small for me.   They had 5 or 6 on display.   The ones I looked in had a toilet, but no shower.

Here's the new Airstream Basecamp I saw:  https://www.airstream.com/travel-trailers/basecamp/
