Title: Got rid of one block of wood
Post by: charleschapman on July 23, 2016, 08:20:27 PM
Put the flip jack on the front jack. Ridding us of one block of wood of the five today. The 16 TBS with the off road package both the scissor jacks and the front jack are too short.   Picture later since I can't figure out how with this iPhone.

We have a 21BHS with the off-road package and our scissor jacks are a little short sometimes as well. We usually put some blocks of wood on the ground first (like you) but it sounds like you came up with a better solution. Look forward to hearing (and seeing) more about it!

Well I got rid of one block still need four blocks for the scissor jacks.  Watched the YouTube video <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLwVPIJl0QA> for an easy install.  Helps to have sharp drill bits.

blocks of wood just seem heavy.  i do keep a pack of the plastic levelers though.  with the flip jack you will want to keep something with you though.  if you dont have enough room for the flip jack to flip down, you can still put the jack down with the flip foot up, but you will need a block or something for it to come down on (it cant rest flat on the ground because of the larger foot print at the base).

we boondock and the ground is sometimes too high at the jack to flip the foot down
