We would like to use our Tailgater satellite TV receiver that we used with our previous camper and which worked when connected to the outside cable connection. When I connected the Tailgater to the Camp-lite using the cable connector, no signal was found appeared on the screen. I then connected the cable directly through the open door, and the Tailgater worked fine. I thought there was a cable problem inside the trailer, so I went to a park with cable TV. I had no trouble getting it to work. In the meantime I contacted Sunny Island RV dealership where we bought it to ask why the satellite wouldn't work. They said they would have to run a separate cable in to the camper. I contacted Camping World who said the same thing. I know about the green light button at the box next to the TV and that switch has no effect. This makes no logical sense to me because the cables seem to be identical. First, can someone explain what is happening, and if someone has added a second cable, can you post some pictures showing what you did?
[font size="3"]Others have had this problem. It has to do with control signals from the receiver to the antenna down converter that will not pass through the booster even when it's off. Check out this thread and follow the links.

This requires moving the image from whatever camera device to your computer. I do this routinely. I think you can do this directly from a smartphone, but I don't have a clue :-/ .
[ol type="decimal"][li]Make sure your image is 1MB or less in size. In Windows it can be resized using the Paint application. Similar apps are available for Macs.
[/li][li]In the upper right hand area of the forum posting window there is a button labeled "Add Attachments". Click on it.
[/li][li]Click on the button labeled "+ Add Files".[/li][li]Scroll to find your image on your computer and click on it. An upload bar will appear.
[/li][li]Position the cursor where you want to insert the image and click on "Insert". The image will appear in the posting.
[/li][li]Click "Done" or repeat for additional images. Limit is 5 attachments per post.[/li][/ol][p]

Take a screen shot of the pic on your phone. This changes the size of the stored pic, on an iphone press power button and menu button at the same time that makes the screen shot. Go to your phone's picture album, edit picture by cropping out time, etc.. on top and bottom of pic then save and pics will work to upload from your phone. Only takes a minute to do this and is easy after you do it a couple of times. FYI i usually delete the first pic I screen shot after I know I have saved the new edited pic so I don't try to upload the larger pic file and get the message file too large. The pics will look the same when you are picking from pic files to upload. Hope this helps. Also you will need to be in he desktop version to get the option to attach files. This can be done by scrolling to the bottom of your phone screen in the forum and click on desktop give it a minute to load and you will be ready to post using your pics. 5 at a time is max but if you have a few more to share just click reply and subject a few more pics attach and post.
