never been a fan of the flimsy folding table. it is a pain to get in and out of the storage area and it isnt very stable. it is good for eating outside though.
i picked up a couple leg assemblies for garelick (thanks again merlin for the idea) and added an rv table top i purchased of f of ebay. the leg assemblies arent cheap, but by the time you add up all the individual pieces for rv table legs and mounts, they are too much more. plus the garelick assemblies are almost flush mount, and dont require a big hole to be cut into the floor. the table was a great price. a seller on ebay buys factory seconds from a local rv manufacturer and sells them on ebay. i simply picked one out that had the color, shape, and size i liked.
unlike other options that use the coned above floor mounts (stick up too far) or the flush mounts that require a hole to be cut in the floor, the garelick uses a locking plate. the plate sticks up a little bit, but isnt a tripping hazard

and the table storage is done as well. couple pieces of aluminum angle and a re-purposed strap (off of the old table) and it is secured. as a bonus...it doesn't even interfere with the use of the toilet (for those emergency stops)

The question I have to ask -- Is the table as steady as you wanted it to be?
It is...definitely more stable than the camper tables in friends campers that I have had experience with in the past. The ones I have seen in the past wobble in the bases a bit. Probably just cheap tubes that come loose These are tight..
Hopefully they stay that way. Will report back after using it for a season
We have only 1 post on ours (relatively small table top) and it's plenty steady. We eat on it with no fear of tipping and use it as an auxiliary counter when cooking.
For my dinette table I installed a telescopic table base. It works pretty good and is reasonably stable. It has about an 12" diameter base screwed to the aluminum floor. With any of these floor mounted table supports I'd caution -- It wouldn't take much to damage the floor. For instance I'd bet that if a drunk visitor tried to sit on any of our floor-mounted tables the floor would buckle & bend. Ideally each of us should have mounted a fairly large plate to the underside of the floor to spread the load and then anchored through the floor to that plate. I didn't so I keep a watchful eye that excessive loads don't get put on the table. All this said I do think these are all far better solutions than the stock folding table legs.

The telescopic pedestals are made for the marine market and are relatively expensive. I feel it was money well spent -- certainly adding to our enjoyment of the trailer by making the dinette/bed switcheroo easier.
I looked this item up on Bass Pro, $440.00! Is that right? I have to go to plan B.

If you shop around you might find one for $435. Unfortunately I paid significantly more buying it locally here in Canada. It did solve a major problem and I plan on having the small but mighty CL11FDB for eternity. (I'm planning to be buried in it along with my camping gear).

30 plus years ago my father-in-law purchased a $400 suit at a suit outlet place, I could not believe he paid that much money for it. He told me he would be buried in that suit, he was.
My daughter just sent us a new way use your cremated ashes, in some type of pod that sprouts a tree when planted. I guess I will be a tree one day!
