I changed the thread title. Why is it when Christmas shopping I always see cool stuff for me! :)

Charles - I agree. The BAL Leveler makes set up so simple. Of course dual axle rigs can use them too - just buy two. 8-)
Yea, I've looked at the BAL leveler. That might be on my list too. The Valterra units are not for leveling, only for stabilizing once you're level.
I originally wanted the BAL leveler for quite a while and in some ways I still do. However (and maybe its just that i've been lucky so far) most of the time I find myself in an unlevel situation, I'm in a gravel/dirt lot. Then all I do is dig out a little track for my high side wheel to sit in. If its real bad, I have a little 1x6 board that I can drive the low side up on as well. So I question if its worth giving up the space to store the leveler...
I thought similar thoughts. I have some leveling shims out of wood. They also have the plastic stacker types. The QS 10.0 isn't hard to push or pull onto something. So, is a BAL worth it, especially for the space it eats up? I take it you'd really only need one and it would go under the low side..
Yeah I figure one for the low side should do the trick. Like you said though, the QS is not difficult to move around so I cant think of a time where it was really all that difficult to get the rig level.
I find there's hardly a campsite that I don't use my BAL Leveler. Sometimes it basically a glorified chock without any lift but typically I'll use it to lift 3/4" to an 1-1/4". It will lift more -- and that tends to come in handy when I find myself parked on grass. The thing is with one you won't pay as much attention to getting the camper in a level spot as you can deal with most situations. You just arrive & park then level. The Bal Leveler can be a bit of a nuisance on soft soils as sinking into the ground can make it hard to remove.
The image below shows mine in a relatively high lift position. One advantage in such situations is it is very stable. Far more stable than propping the wheel up on a scrap of firewood. ;)

thats pretty cool too
[p]We have a Bal Leveler that my brother gave us and we have used it a couple of times. For storage a padded pizza delivery bag works great.[/p]

not sure I like the levelers in the video. You'd have to stop the trailer precisely where you need with the TV or by hand..
We have a couple of >> [a href="http://www.amazon.com/Wakrays-Aluminum-Folding-Portable-Picnic/dp/B017NH058O/ref=sr_1_19?s=outdoor-recreation&ie=UTF8&qid=1453846257&sr=1-19&keywords=aluminum+roll+up+table"]aluminum roll-up tables like this one from Amazon[/a]. << They make a great addition to your camping gear. With two they work well as an outdoor kitchen. Since they can be moved easily they make a great drink/snack table when your in the lawn chair enjoying the campfire. The pack up compactly and are not harmed by rain. I've put hot pans directly on ours and the anodized aluminum has stained a bit -- so they don't look like new anymore but they are still as functional as ever. And they are aluminum so they fit right in with a QS or Camplite. 8-) There seems to be a lot of manufacturers and a lot of variety in the prices. I think we bought ours at Walmart.

(http://s9.postimg.org/67d4d0ctb/table.jpg)BiMart has them for like $20 in season, for those of us in the Northwest. And if you buy them while in OR for the regional rally, there's NO SALES TAX Ahhhhhhhahahahahahahahaha !!!

For off grid trips.
Ya, my dealer "gave" me one of those "for free", in return for signing over the better part of $30k when I bought my trailer. Also a crappy sewer hose that separated at the coupler AT THE FIRST DUMP STATION which is NOT GOOD.
I haven't used it for dry camping, but have used it to top off the battery when I couldn't be bothered** connecting to AC to recharge.
All of this post refers to the solar charger in the prior post. Not the plastic block thingies.
Worked great, as far as I was concerned, as it recharged the battery pretty well between the time I hooked it up and the time I got to the campsite 4 days later. Point being, the battery was not at zero, which is all I can attest to, and which is also what it would have been, had I not done anything at all.
** possibly alcohol related laziness was involved

[/quote]I think I've mentioned the Lego-type leveling blocks elsewhere, but it may bear repeating. I bought my set from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0028PJ10K?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00
There are lots of these out there and they all work pretty much the same. We have an 8.1 and I have on occasion successfully horsed it up onto a single row of blocks by main force, but I ain't got much main force not no more (rofl) so I've gotten in the habit of drawing her up onto the blocks with the car.
First I guesstimate how much rise I need using an ordinary torpedo level => [a href="https://flic.kr/p/bBY1xc"]

I finally unpacked the Valterra stabilizers this past Sunday. It's a pretty simple design, not meant to jack up the trailer at all but simply give it stability. It's 3 aluminum bars and a ratchet strap. I think that these will really help the bouncyness inside the QS.

One of my wish list items just came in today. My old quest tent broke last fall and I'm now kind of glad it did. It will be nice place to escape the bugs and sun this summer.
I'm sitting it now in the living room watching Planet Earth to see how it works. By the way it does go up fast.
This is awesome! and not just because the screen room looks great :) I love that you set it up inside and are using it. The only thing that would make this better is if you said you were going to use it like a fort and camp out for the night in the living room :)
It's huge. I was forced to take it down because you could not get through the living room to the kitchen. I like it a lot. Going up and down is a literal snap. The only negative I can think of it takes up a bit more room than my old quest when folded.
wow, that thing is pretty cool. will it butt up against the QS or be separate?
I bought an EZ up 10' last summer, was going to look into the screen walls and shade walls for it
It will be separate. It only has one door option.
I have a 10' easy up with the screen and solid walls. I love it. I bungie the canopy to the easy up creating a covered walkway to my kitchen that I set up in the easy up.
