My husband and I have retired to Louisville, when we aren't somewhere in our Camplite. We ordered a custom Camplite 21-BHS last summer and took delivery toward the end of October last year.
Now that Thor has purchased Livin Lite, and has placed Livin' Lite as a division of Crossroads RV, change is inevitable. There will be an RVIA show here in Louisville in a week, Dec. 1-3, and my husband and I are trying to get tickets to it, even though we aren't dealers. (Shh!) We thought we could get some info about what will be coming to dealers, and pass on to everybody here what we learn.
My husband picked up a magazine at the library, RV PRO, November 2015 edition. There is an article about Livin' Lite in there.
Initially, Livin' Lite will offer 5 travel trailer floorplans and 6 camper floorplans with the Ford logo. There is a picture of one new Ford Livin' Lite. I am guessing that it is 21'. It has a front windshield-style window, a smaller front window than what our Camplite has in front of the entry door, and what looks to be an outside kitchen past the entry door and Ford logo.
It sits higher off the ground and there are 3 folding steps into the trailer. Livin' Lite General Manager Ryan Spencer is quoted about Ford's input into the design.
I talked to Keith at Sunny Island RV, where I ordered the custom Camplite. He told me that since I ordered all the changes in the 21-BHS, they have handled a lot more custom orders from Livin Lite. I asked for a ticket to the show - nope.
Keith did tell me that a representative from Livin' Lite was in his office last week. Sunny Island will still be able to order all-aluminum cabinets for their customers. Customers can also have the vinyl floors deleted from their order, and go back to the aluminum slat floor. I wish I had done that. He doubts that the factory will accept floor plan changes, although Sunny Island will work to accommodate their customers.
So, the RVIA show starts one week from today. My husband and I would like to go. I also asked a local RV dealer where I go for supplies and service, such as repacking the wheel bearings, etc. Still no tickets. Anybody have any ideas or suggestions about how we can get into the show? (I am not in favor of illegal entry.)

Actually, I was in the process of writing a PM to Christian when I was given the GM Ryan Spencer's work number, so I called him. I am waiting to hear back. I will let you know.
