Looking for Camplite 21 BHS, 2015 or earlier model. Is a price of $28,000 a good buy for an end of year new 2015?
It really depends on where you are or what you are willing to do to get one. We paid 27,900 for our 2016 but drove 2000 miles to get it. I see them advertised in the Illinois area for that price (Sunnyislandrv has 2, a 2015 for 27,995 and a 2016 for 30,995) and expect to pay thousands more on the West Coast (freight charges). Saw a 2016 21 BHS in LA area for 33,300. There's 1 in Oregon for 35,000. So it really depends on we're you live and what you are willing to do. But that being said 28K for a 2015 new BHS with the XL package would not be a bad price.

Several folks talk good about D&H RV in North Carolina and Southland RV in Georgia. You might check their websites.

They had it on sale for $34,000 but agreed to match the price, otherwide I would have headed to Georgia. Retail is around $38,000.
Thanks for the dealership suggestions and your input, Ammobob and djsamuel. I did check the websites for D&H and Southland, but they don't have the Camplite 21 DHS in stock. They would be much more convenient for us than traveling to Illinois, but we are seriously considering doing just that. We are wanting to get the 2015 model rather than the 2016 because of lower price and not wanting the newer cabinet doors and facings made from wood products. So,it seems like $28,000 may be the best price we can get. This is a large purchase for us, and we just want to make sure we are getting a quality product at the best price possible. Thanks again! Any other comments or suggestions from users of this forum? We appreciate all the help we can get!
The was the deal we got from Sunny Island, though that's not a photo of ours:

There are a couple of 21BHS in stock here in Michigan, a '15 at International RV World in Mt. Pleasant and a '16 at H&W Motorhomes in Canton. I have never been to International RV World and I think they are a new Camplite dealer. I've been to H&W Motorhomes and found them helpful and patient. The only other Michigan dealer I have visited and would suggest for a purchase would be Nature and Me RV in Traverse City, but they have only toyhaulers in stock right now.
Check out the for sale forum here. A 21BHS just came up for sale
Thank you! We will check it out.
