Title: Livin Lite 2015 Open House
Post by: thedusty on September 22, 2015, 01:22:31 PM
Livin Lite RV announced via Facebook that their 2015 Open House started today.  For those on Facebook, you can follow them and see any updates they post.  Perhaps over the next few days we can uncover finalized details on the changes being made now that the facility has moved to its new location under Thor Industries ownership.

Saw that they changed the cabinets, not to crazy about that, the old cabinets are not an option for 2016, ( unless I missed something ). Am I mistaken or did "Thor Industries" take LL over?

I don't necessarily look at that as a good thing. Heres a list of Thor's Subsidiaries:

Airstream
Breckenridge
CrossRoads RV
Dutchmen RV
Redwood RV
Keystone RV
KZ RV
Heartland RV
Livin Lite RV
Bison Coach

BTW, their stock fell 5.9% this week.

THOR!? Oh, man, they have the WORST quality rating. This may affect my decision to buy a LL product.

I'm beginning to think the whole RV industry has a quality issue.

Before we bought our 14DBS we briefly considered a T&B and a Chalet, so I joined the Yahoo groups for both.  A few days on those forums convinced me to avoid them both....junk!!!  I am so disgusted with these new fake wood cabinets that we are going to look at other brands now.[/quote]Chris, before you give up remember why most of us bought our LL campers. Aluminum and lite! Also consider the Bearcat line. It retains the aluminum cabinets and industrial looking interior.

I saw the wooden cabinets, didn't care for them at all. The nicest cabinets I have had were on my Nash, they lasted about ten years before the hinges started to loosen up.
