Does anyone have any suggestions for annual maintenance checklists? I took a long trip (12000 miles) last year and want to start thinking about getting everything ready for next year. (This year I was busy moving and didn't get a chance to take it out much). I have a 14DB with Off Road package.
I want to make sure that I don't have too many suprises on the road. I was thinking that I probably need to have wheel bearings repacked. Obviously, tanks need to be flushed and deodorized and check that everything is working with the plumbing, refrigerator and hot water heater.
I am not particulalry able to do things myself and thought about going to an RV dealer, but when I looked at the prices for their 45 point checklists, I thought I should try to figure it out on my own.
Any suggestions or links would be appreciated.

[/quote]This for sure along with brake adjustment. The other maintenance is more a function of time than usage. But the wheel bearings and brakes are directly proportional to the distance you've traveled.
Wheel bearings and brakes. Everything else will tell you when it breaks and there really isn't any preventative maintenance that helps.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I have all of the specs for my Dexter EZ Lube axles and it includes information on the brakes, etc., but I think I will take it to someone who has done this before.
[p]I think I have the check off list of lists, I stole most of it from various internet sources and put it in excel format. Note the various tables at the bottom. One sheet I use every time before we travel, and the other as needed. Hopefully I can attach an excel sheet.[/p][p]

You can attach an Excel SS to a post by using the Add Attachment feature at the top right of your screen. It will not display the file, but a link will be inserted. Others can open, save, and modify it as desired. I just tried it to make sure and it worked.
We discourage saving pictures as attachments so we can save these other types of files in our limited storage capability. Pictures (jpg) should be posted to a third party server such as Flicker or Imgur and then linked in posts here. This saves storage room here for just such files as you have.
