Title: Sell your RAM
Post by: shovelhead on July 30, 2015, 01:05:11 AM
Are you selling your RAM back to Fiat/Chrysler?  I haven't had any steering issues and I'm sure the buy
back will not favor the owners. >:D

Not selling mine. The 1500 buyback is for the pinion nut recall which I had done a year and a half ago. The press is really blowing this way out of proportion.

I would buy another Ram in a second.

Seems the recall covers a  number of models including Jeeps....I'll be interesting what Fiat/Chrysler will offer.

I'm sure they will depreciate it as much as they can and then low ball you below that. Probably try to give you a voucher good on a new RAM only if purchased at full retail. I am glad mine is not involved. Good luck guys!

No plans to even look into it. I had the pinion nut recall (the basis for the Ram buyback) completed a year and a half ago. Don't agree with the government's punishment plus I like my truck too much. There is nothing wrong with it.
