I have searched the forum and found a couple threads talking about cutting the azdel for various projects but I'm looking for input to flesh out an idea a little better.
Our water heater is located under the jack knife sofa. It is impossible to reach to install/use a bypass valve without completely removing the sofa - ugh. I would like to create an access panel there to a) install a bypass and b) be able to access when it is time to winterize.
Has anyone done this type of mod? Or have thoughts on how to do it so that it looks decent and functions as intended?
