[font size="3"]Okay, so where do I go to complain about the heat?? I live in the Pacific NW, for crying out loud. It's supposed to be moderate here! And we're camping this week in central Oregon which is NOT at the beach where it's cool.... Stupid 100 degrees. ;-|

Funny, we are traveling from ky with my with our quicksilver. We had to get a hotel. 110 is a bit hot for the family. We are in Yakima now.
By the way we are going to Olympic today. Hoping to find a place a bit cooler.

Who in Kentucky had an easy winter? I spent February in Louisville and it was one snow storm after another. It was one of Louisville's worst winters. February was not nice.

It's been quite warm in N Ga, but a couple days ago a cold front went through and it feels like fall!
54° right now - about 20 degrees cooler than its been.

And don't give me excuses about luck. So please share your weather-predicting sources for next year so I can plan ahead to escape from the hot weather happening inland. Sympathies Brenda. We have a trip planned to northern CA this weekend and with temps projected at 102/103 for Friday and Saturday we may have to live inside during the day (full hookups so will have AC) and go out mornings and evenings.
Just to let you know been camping in Olympic on the coast at Mora campground beats Forks. It had to be one of the best camping spots ever, 60 degrees, no bugs, lots of shade, just very relaxing. We keep the camper door up and unzipped all day and hardly a bug. Plus the beaches are awesome.

Sounds like a great trip. I am hoping to spend some time in Olympic National Park just about a year from now. Do you have an ocean view?

Still camping at Mora. Came into Forks to do some laundry and make some phone calls. Seems Verizon is the phone service to have here. ATT has zero bars on the coast.
Brenda I'm glad someone hates me. I have to admit I was rubbing it in a little.
Leslie there is no ocean view, and the beach I about two miles down the road. However the scenery is pretty awesome at the campground. There was a place south of here with ocean views but it looked like a sandy parking lot with zero protection from wind. I'll try to post a picture or two.
I'll let you when I get back and post some pictures.
