So he's distracted right now.... to the point of being giddy. And although he wants me on the back, riding with him, and admittedly it IS fun ..... I'm patiently biding my time before I steer him back towards another camping trip. I've even glanced through the LL toy-hauler options, in case we are forced to combine the two hobbies. :-S
Congrats to your husband! Combining the two hobbies gives you the best of everything! We both ride (my wife won't ride on the back, but loves to ride her own bike... hers is the one on the right and mine is the one on the left in this pic:
We ride motorcycles & love to camp, too! Feel like a kid in the candy store, sometimes!
I'm curious. Your trailer doesn't look like a toy hauler, so how do you transport your motorcycle?
I can ride the motorcycle while Debbie is towing the CampLite (have not tried this method yet) or she tows the motorcycle trailer with our Tacoma while I tow the CampLite with the Frontier (method works great). The campground in the photo is Linville Falls Campground NC and the owner put me in a site with enough room for both tow vehicles, motorcycle trailer, motorcycle and CampLite for no extra charge.
Here's a few photos from the trip last week, Debbie really enjoyed it too!

All I can say is, if you havent already please attend a motorcycle safety course. I have ridden since I had a FL junior license. 50 years and only one accident. Very minor for me but the bike had serious road rash after a cage ran a red light. As they say.. it's not a matter of "IF" just a matter of "WHEN" you'll have an accident. BTW my only transportation while dating my wife and to the birth of our son we only had a bike. A total of 8 years. Some great memories.

We had both ridden dirt bikes quite a bit when we were younger, but it had been 15 years since we had been on a bike, and we needed to get our motorcycle endorsement. The MSF class was great, and I highly recommend it to anyone who has never taken it (no matter how many years of experience you have riding).

Giddyness is part of the package they sell you with the motorcycle. It will calm down after a bit, and then you can go camping again.
Seriously, though, you might have to negotiate: I'll give you X amount of day rides on the motorcycle for X number of camping trips this summer. Just make sure they're equal or better. That is, WHOLE camping trips for DAY rides. :)
I do like exploringcarolina's solution. Take both trailers to a campsite and ride all over the place!
...and then you can get your own. I recently sold my beloved Harley to afford the CL. Lucky you can have both!

Shouda just bolted a hitch on the Harley. Pump up the rear tire real tight and you're good to go.

I wasn't allowed on board until he'd put in nearly 1000 miles of practice. He studied up on all the best safety features, including ABS brakes, and wouldn't consider any bike w/o them. Plus we have the full head-to-toe, high-visability gear and high-quality helmets, which he also studied up on, and never rides w/o them. So according to the stats, we lowered our odds of an accident considerably.
Except since I've become more informed, I've become all judgmental when I see other riders, who wear the minimal protection. So hopefully that's none of you doing that.
